# 09 — PRODUCTION QA

Before calling a shared issue ready, perform issue-wide QA.

## Editorial

Check:
- six chapters are distinct
- chapter order has rhythm
- repeated phrases are intentional
- STORY / SCENE / MOMENT / STYLE remain differentiated
- factual claims are sourced
- credits are correct

## Visual

Check:
- images render
- no accidental crop of essential content
- SCENE objects remain modular
- no page feels like a broken website template
- page density changes intentionally across the issue

## Technical

Check:
- package validation passes
- page numbers are continuous
- issue has intended page count
- layout files exist
- image paths resolve
- theme loads
- no missing assets

## Print

Check:
- safe margins
- bleed / trim when printer spec is known
- effective image resolution
- no clipped text
- no accidental text/image overlap
- QR codes are final and scannable

## Digital

Check:
- responsive layout
- live text remains selectable / sharp
- links work
- no layout collision on smaller screens
- interactive continuation behaves as intended

## Rights

Check:
- STORY image source recorded
- photographer / organization credit
- press/editorial-use note
- unresolved rights flags are visible, not silently ignored

## Approval

After QA, present:
- what passed
- remaining production flags
- whether they block design or only final print

Then wait for approval.
